January 15, 2015 -  Kathleen McMahon, Chief of Staff, presents Civic Enterprises' recent work with AT&T Aspire at DECA's Annual National Advisory Board Meeting.
January 7, 2014 -  Ron Haskins writes an op.ed in the New York Times, "Social Programs that Work," which mentions John Bridgeland's work on the White House Task Force for Disadvantaged Youth, which he co-chaired. Read it here.
January 4, 2015 -  Dana Milibank, a columnist for The Washington Post, mentions John Bridgeland and The Franklin Project as the solution for a "slacktivist" generation.  Read the op-ed here.
December 9, 2014 -  John Bridgeland and Nicole Anderson, Executive Director of Philanthropy for AT&T, participated in a radio tour of more than 15 programs in national and regional markets to discuss the high school dropout challenge, AT&T’s Aspire program, and the evidence-based programs that AT&T supports to help students stay in school and on track to graduate from high school, ready for college and career.

Civic Enterprises advances many education initiatives aimed at increasing the national high school graduation rate, such as the GradNation Campaign and American Graduate, and is partnering with several organizations working in the field of education, including the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning, and Committee for Children.

Econ. Mobility

Civic Enterprises, in partnership with Opportunity Nation and Hart Research Associates, has worked on a research effort to marshal voices of low-income Americans on the challenges of fulfilling the promise of economic opportunity and mobility in the United States.

Civic Engagement

Civic Enterprises collaborates with organizations that are part of the National Service Alliance, including The Franklin Project, the National Conference on Citizenship, Voices for National Service, and ServiceNation, to advance the idea that all young Americans should commit to a year of full-time national service.

Global Affairs

Civic Enterprises has worked with a diverse array of international organizations, including Children International, Special Olympics, and the National Peace Corps Association, to develop initiatives and strengthen their work both domestically and internationally.


Civic Enterprises is partnering with numerous organizations and programs, such as the Earth Conservation Corps, EARTH University, and the 21st Century Conservation Service Corp, to strengthen environmental policies and initiatives on a national and global scale.


Civic Enterprises is working for The Heritage Foundation to develop a defined long term Medicare reform strategy and health proposals to tie together the health and entitlement LFA teams, working closely with the Director for the Center for Health Policy studies and the Director of the Roe Institute.
