In partnership with The Franklin Project at The Aspen Institute, the National Conference on Citizenship, Voices for National Service, and ServiceNation

Formed in 2014, The Franklin Project at the Aspen Institute coordinates and supports the National Service Alliance as it seeks to promote a transformative idea — that every American should commit to one year of full-time national service (known as a Service Year). To reach this goal, the Alliance aims to develop 30,000 new national service positions by 2017, and secure 50 higher education institutions and 50 “Employers of National Service” as partners in support of the Service Year. Led by General Stanley McChrystal, the Alliance has formed a bipartisan Leadership Council with members from the public, private, and non-profit sector who support this initiative.
