Jessica Milano
Jessica Milano is a Senior Policy Advisor to Civic Enterprises, LLC. She is also Director of The Campaign for Economic Security, a joint project of AARP and the PostPartisan Foundation, to develop innovative new ways to help Americans reach their retirement savings goals and to protect their savings in the wake of the economic crisis.
Ms. Milano has extensive economic consulting and financial services experience. She previously held positions as Director of Research at Compass Lexecon, an economic consulting firm, and with Promontory Interfinancial Network, an innovative financial services firm. During her time at Promontory Ms. Milano worked on the launch of the Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service (CDARS), a CD brokerage service with the added benefit of up to $50 million dollars in FDIC protection. She also participated in a joint initiative with the Community Development Bankers Association (CDBA) to help community development banks use the CDARS service to attract deposits for local lending and investment in under-served communities.
Ms. Milano has written several policy reports on topics including economic security, job creation, investment and innovation as a as a Fellow of the Progressive Policy Institute and the Democratic Leadership Council.
Ms. Milano holds an MA in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and received her BSc in Government from the London School of Economics.
