Sarah Nokes
Before coming to Civic Enterprises, Nokes graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Political Science and Anthropology. While at Notre Dame, Nokes completed a summer service project with the Volunteer Center of Madison County in Huntsville, AL. During the school year, Nokes worked with the Volunteer Lawyer Network in South Bend, IN. Since graduating from Notre Dame, Sarah has been studying law at the College of William & Mary.
She anticipates both the publication of her student Note in the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal and her J.D. in the spring of 2011. Since her enrollment in law school, Sarah has worked with the Judge Advocate General's office of the North Carolina National Guard and the William & Mary Veterans Benefits Clinic.
As a fellow at Civic Enterprises, Sarah hopes to focus on projects aimed at improving educational practices and the transition home for veterans.
