Civic Enterprises' latest report, Opportunity Road, released for the White House Council for Community Solutions, shows that nearly three in four (73 percent) of youth ages 16-24 who are not enrolled in school, are unemployed and do not have a college degree are confident and hopeful that they will be able to achieve their goals in life. Education

In 2010, a coalition of leading institutions adopted as part of the Grad Nation campaign the Civic Marshall Plan to end the dropout epidemic and reach the national goal of having 90 % of U.S. students graduate from high school and obtain at least one year of postsecondary schooling or training by 2020.

Civic Enterprises,

Civic Engagement

Since 2006, Civic Enterprises has worked with the National Conference on Citizenship, the Corporation for National and Community Service, and the U.S. Census Bureau to release an annual Civic Health Assessment in order to help communities harness the power of their citizens.

Global Affairs

To coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the signing of the Peace Corps Act, Civic Enterprises released the first large-scale, independent, nationally representative survey of the more than 200,000 Peace Corps volunteers who have served since 1961 to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the signing of the Peace Corps Act.

Environment

Civic Enterprises works with the National Parks Conservation Association, the National Parks Service, and the Department of Interior to insure that the greatest national resources in America are available for all. Civic Enterprises will play a key role at the Summit on National Parks: Taking Action for a New Century, in Washington, D.C. on January 24-26, 2012.

Healthcare

Civic Enterprises is working for The Heritage Foundation to develop a defined long term Medicare reform strategy and health proposals to tie together the health and entitlement LFA teams, working closely with the Director for the Center for Health Policy studies and the Director of the Roe Institute.
